Why Not Do A Story On Pet Sitters?

I co-own a pet sitting business called the Parrot Nannies of Minnesota and I think it would be a great idea if your newsletter were to do a story on the pet sitting industry, what the job is like, and how it compares having your pet stay at a kennel or boarding facility.

Hello Kim--thank you for your suggestion. There are many pet sitters in the Twin Cities area. I like your idea and suggest we take it a bit further. Instead of focusing on one aspect of animal care options, I think an article that addresses how to choose the best care option for pets when owners are on vacation would provide helpful information. Some animals do better staying at home and having a pet sitter visit, while for other animals, this is not an option. The key is knowing your animal and what would best suit his or her needs. That way, the pet is happy, the owner is happy and the caretaker is happy.
