There's a great dog park not on the "Places to Play" map. Just south of HWY 62 on 28th Ave is a large dog park adjacent to the airport runway. The area is almost completely fenced, but the thing we like best is that it is completely free. No city licensing requirements, no permit fees, just the request that you pick-up after your dog. From what I've learned, the airport converted this area to a dog park in hopes of reducing vandalism and burglaries at neighboring office buildings. Since the 24-hour park opened to people & their pups, those crimes have pretty much been eliminated.
