New dog park in S. St. Paul

August 28th, 2008

The Kaposia Landing Dog Park (off-leash) is now open. It is located at 800 Bryant Ave. S in South St. Paul. It is 6.3 of fenced-in, off-leash canine fun. Park hours are 8 am - 10 pm daily, year round.

Come to the grand opening on Saturday, September 13, from 9 - noon!

Yea, I just went down there

Yea, I just went down there tonight. Love it. Nice and clean, numerous garbage cans, poop bag dispensers, and 2 nice wooden shade buildings with picnic tables. Also has some water dishes for if you bring water. Fully fenced with very nice transition areas to get your dogs off the leash before you enter. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Oh, yea, its free.

So disappointing. I went

So disappointing. I went today and was very disappointed. Not a tree or a bush in the pen...The river is right there and all I could do while my dogs ran around was look longingly at the river. I wish they had incorporated the water and trees with the dog pen. Not a dog park...just an off leash area. Could have been spectacular.

Well, I went down there, and my dogs had a blast.
It's a beautiful, fully fenced in area. Very wide open and easy to get to.
We personally loved it...
