People should note that
People should note that unless you pre-register you CANNOT bring your dog to the Renaissance fair. I believe the forms were due on August 1st so it may already be too late for those that did not plan ahead. I have seen and worry that people will leave their animals in the car when they are refused at the door because they did not know about the pre-registration. There is NO shade in most of those lots and August is typically WAY too hot to leave a dog in a car. With the long drive most people will not take their animal back home where they are safe.
PLEASE if you do go and see animals in a car even with the window cracked and the temp is above 70 degrees contact security.
Reading through the
Reading through the information, pre-registration is available through 1 Aug. However, if you do not pre-register, you may still do so at the gate... at least as I read this. We took little Charka last year and this was the procedure. You SHOULD print out forms and fill them out before you go...
Not true. The Renaissance
Not true. The Renaissance Fair has allowed dogs for years. You may register your pet at the gate, however, there is paperwork you need to fill out, and doing so ahead of time allows for a more smooth check in of your pet. There is a fee for pet entrance, and you will be required to provide a picture of your dog (non-returnable), or pay extra to have them take one there.
With the pet weekend being advertised, it's sure to be crowded, especially at the ticket gate. Be sure to plan ahead and have plenty of water for your pooch in case of long lines.
