My golden has been showing more and more signs of arthritis in her hips. She's was starting to have trouble going up and down stairs. Any recommendations on a natural product that I could give her? I just don't want to see her taking NSAIDS or Rimadyl, they are just too degregating to the rest of her body. Thanks!

My chocolate lab, Sasha, had exactly the same situation when she was turning 6. She would hesitate before getting up, going up and down stairs and would rather walk than run. I have a 12 yr old pug who
I have a 12 yr old pug who has arthritis. He started on Rimadyl this fall and I am not very pleased about it. But his quality of life has improved immensly. For the past month I have been taking him to an Accupuncture doctor. It is expensive but seems to be helping him. I am thinking soon he can go off the Rimadyl. Now if I could just find a Vet, who did accupuncture, that was closer to me, everything would be much better.
