Farewell and Thank You

Dear Friend,
Some of you have noticed that my blogging has diminished over the past month. This is because Pet Central will no longer be around.
Although the Star Tribune will continue to offer pet information weekly in the Saturday Variety section and daily in the classifieds and online, my involvement will cease to exist.
I just wanted to personally thank all of you for participating in Pet Central.
I feel as if I am leaving behind a legacy of good pet information. What started out as a budding journey through the pages of TC Dog magazine blossomed into a great opportunity. Whether through an article, an educational clinic, blog or Doggie Palooza, I like to think that somewhere along the line, people learned something about their pets that helped them better understand the animals with whom they share their lives.
The Twin Cities is rich in canine culture and a community of animal lovers. I am truly grateful and awed by your participation as readers, advertisers and supporters all these years.
So in the spirit of Pet Central (and for many of you, TC Dog)——take care. And remember to take your dog for a walk. It has been an honor sharing my love of animals with you.
Oh—and if all goes well, I might be helping Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in the near future. Wish me luck. :)
